BOOMING BELGIUM puts Belgian entrepreneurship in the spotlight

Did you know that 99% of Belgian businesses are small and medium-sized enterprises? SMEs and the self-employed are the backbone of the Belgian economy. To encourage Belgian entrepreneurship, the Belgian Federal Public Service Economy, is launching the Booming Belgium campaign. The Oval Office presented a highly successful pitch with a booming concept and media plan, and developed the entire national campaign from A to Z.

The Federal Public Service Economy wants to promote the business climate in Belgium and is therefore launching a web platform with success stories about Belgian entrepreneurs. Besides these inspiring success stories, the website has practical information on starting a business, various financing options, etc. To give the website and its stories some extra publicity, it is organising a competition that invites participants to gather and share new success stories.

The Oval Office is very happy to support this initiative. After a strategic analysis based on the characteristic Empathy model, its campaign concept emerged from the pride Belgian society feels for its entrepreneurs.

Booming Belgium

Being an entrepreneur isn't easy and presents many challenges. It is precisely those challenges and the importance of sharing success stories that come to the fore in this campaign. 30 inspiring business stories show some of the crucial aspects of entrepreneurship: having the courage to start, experiment, surround yourself with the right resources and people, the trial and error, and above all, the persistence and perseverance.

The Oval Office created this eye-catching campaign in very little time.
